As Chief Communications Officer, Stewart Bunn manages the network’s diverse stakeholder communications requirements, encompassing brand and eminence, strategy, digital marketing, social media, reputation management, corporate affairs, and strategic industry communications.
His professional background unites dental technology, product management, sales and marketing in the health management sector, and over 25 years of real estate industry experience – including over $500 million of property sold in Sydney’s eastern suburbs through the 1990s.
As architect of the Real Estate Institute of Australia's successful 2016 & 2019 negative gearing advertising campaigns, Stewart led First National Real Estate’s defence of Australia’s largest economic sector. Both campaigns, which collectively reached more than 22 million voters, and his coordination of the real estate industry’s participation nationally, received the Australian Minister for Housing’s commendation as well as the recognition of the advertising industry’s leading publication - AdNews.
Stewart’s role traverses many of the administration’s functions, influencing strategy, brand, community relations and direct membership support, but also extends to government liaison such as the 2014 House of Representatives Standing Committee on Economics Inquiry into Foreign Investment in Residential Real Estate.
